I spent my 20's recovering from life up til that point. My body didn't feel like it belonged to me. As a teen I was a disciplined dancer, weekend wild child, with straight A's. I lacked impulse control and boundaries but you'd never know because I masked so well. I was living with CPTSD and had no idea and no support...just alcohol and adderall. After college is when the trauma really began to show. I was restricting food and binging, shame spiraling regularly. But what broke me down was being sexually assaulted a month before I walked down the aisle. It reactivated a memory of violation only my body had recorded...my mind had deeply suppressed since childhood. My healing journey led me down a path of alternative modalities, I knew I needed with begin with the body. I explored acupuncture, energy medicine, trauma work, and sound healing with amazing practitioners in Texas and Florida. During this period of body reclamation, I was working in corporate America, stuck in a cubicle. As my soul came back online it began to scream at me. I couldn't ignore my creative gifts any longer. I did my first yoga teacher training in 2014. As I taught classes, my voice started to come back. I was a dance teacher as a teen and had missed expressing this energy. I felt myself shifting into a deeper sense of purpose with each class. One night, I had a dream where I saw myself doing the work I do now with clients. I woke up the next day and knew the next step: massage therapy school. I trusted the nudge completely...which was a new pattern I was getting used to. It was the most enjoyable learning experience of my life and my latent psychic gifts went full blast. I had a vision for the work I am divinely inspired to share and started merging my spiritual gifts with somatic knowledge. MYSTIC MEDICINE is born from lived experience and a decade of deep training in fascial bodywork, energy healing, somatic movement, yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, German New Medicine, and sound therapy. It’s a method shaped by hundreds of sessions, my personal healing path, and intuitive transmissions of technology.
